Anxiety Affects All of Us
Anxiety, stress, and worry affects millions of Americans every day. We live in a culture where more is more and instant gratification is the norm. We are burnt out, over-worked, stressed out, and anxious. We love to numb out when we feel too much. We do this by burying our noses in technology, over-eating, using drugs and alcohol, self-medicating, and the list goes on and on.
Anxiety can affect every part of us. It creates a physiological, behavioral, and psychological reaction all at the same time. It can be annoying, frustrating, and frightening. Here are some common symptoms of anxiety:
Shortness of breath
Rapid heartbeat
Trembling or shaking
Sweating
Nausea
Numbness
Dizziness
Feeling of detachment or being out of touch with yourself
Fear of dying
Fear of being out of control
