Becoming a therapist has been a dream of mine for longer than I can even remember! I have always known that with the right skill set, I could really make a difference in people's lives for the better. Now after four children, tons of life experience, and many years later, this goal is finally coming to fruition.
For the past 15 years, I have run my own business as the owner of a home daycare. This has provided me with a thorough understanding of the diversity involved when it comes to family dynamics. I have a heart for children and families of all kinds, and am now looking forward to the opportunity to work with families in a different capacity.
I believe that we all have our own unique perceptions in which we view the world. These worldviews are based on the experiences that have occurred throughout our lives, including all the triumphs and tribulations. As a systemic therapist, I understand that the complexities of our relationships with friends, family, and even within our community also have an influence on these perceptions. Our life is like one big puzzle that we spend our lives trying to solve. My goal as a therapist is to help you sort through all of the pieces.
